Privacy policy
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the applicable national legislation, Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), we inform you that the personal data you provide voluntarily may be processed by ADELPHI TARGIS S.L. (ADELPHI), Tax ID B62628813, located at C/ Aribau, 230-240, 8ª Planta, Local X, 08006 Barcelona (Spain), based on your express consent and, where applicable, for the execution of the existing legal relationship (art. 6.1 GDPR).
Purposes of Data Processing
- Manage your participation in the present project.
- Obtain answers to questionnaires within the framework of the project.
- Analyze questionnaire responses and prepare statistics or reports.
- Maintain dialogue and communications with you.
- Manage and make payments of fees (either by ADELPHI or the promoter).
- Publish transfers of value by the promoter when necessary (for health or research professionals).
- Send electronic communications about content or projects of interest.
Data will only be processed within the scope of the project. ADELPHI acts as a service provider to the promoter, who is the primary Data Controller, under a Service Agreement and a Data Processing Agreement (art. 28 GDPR).
If you are a patient participant, no personal data that identifies you will be requested, except for contact purposes (e.g., email). Any sensitive data provided (e.g., health data) will be treated confidentially and anonymized before being shared with the promoter.
Questionnaire data will only be used to generate reports and statistics, provided to the promoter in an anonymized and aggregated form.
ADELPHI may provide the promoter, if necessary and only for health or research professionals, with personal, financial, or contact data. The promoter may process this information as Data Controller and may share it with other group entities. International transfers outside the EEA will be covered by appropriate safeguards (European Commission Adequacy Decision, Binding Corporate Rules, or Standard Contractual Clauses).
Other agents (authorities, banks, courts) may access your data when legally required, and service providers may process your data under a Data Processing Agreement. Transfers to countries outside the EEA are allowed only to those with adequate protection.
Personal data will be kept only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes above, and subsequently for the legally required retention period. Data will then be securely and permanently deleted.
Data processing will comply with strict security measures to ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, and secrecy of your personal information. For patient data, security measures include pseudonymization or encryption.
ADELPHI guarantees participants the exercise of rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, as well as the revocation of consent and unsubscribing from promotional communications.
